What The Visit Includes
Whether for a parent, an elder sibling, or a cherished family member living alone, The Kindred Visit is our personal commitment to providing two hours of genuine, in-person connection each week, transforming their quiet afternoons into a source of happiness and anticipation.

Two Dedicated Hours of In-Person Companionship
Undivided attention for two hours every week. We'll fill this time with the art of conversation, shared laughter, and joyful engagement, tailored completely to their unique personality and interests.

Culturally Rich & Intellectually Stimulating Conversation
A fluent in the local culture, we can dive deep into topics they love—from discussing classic films and literature to sharing memories of the city or exploring new ideas together.

A Thoughtful Surprise
Our campanions love to bring a small, curated surprise to every visit—a book from a favourite author, a nostalgic treat, or music they’ll enjoy.

A Monthly Outing
Once a month, with full consent, we'll plan a gentle outing to a beloved park or cafe to create new, happy memories.

Your Personal "Connection Summary"
After our weekly visit, you will receive a confidential email from the campanion. This summary is your personal window into their afternoon, sharing their mood, the highlights of their conversation, and the joy they experienced, giving you a tangible sense of connection and peace of mind.

"Gentle Tech" Assistance
If they're struggling with a video call to family or can't figure out their tablet, our companion is happy to provide simple, patient tech support during their visit to help them stay better connected.
What is Not Included:
⚠️ Emergency & Medical Services
Our companions are not medical professionals or an on-call emergency service provider. Your family must have a designated local emergency contact and a clear plan for urgent medical situations.
⚠️ Household & Financial Tasks
Our role does not extend to daily chores, running errands (like grocery shopping or pharmacy trips), providing transportation, or managing bills and banking. This ensures our time is focused purely on quality companionship.
How It Works
Simple for You. Meaningful for Them.

Step 1 — We Listen First
Every family is different. We begin with a relaxed, no-pressure conversation with you — understanding your parents' personality, interests, daily rhythms, preferred language, and any sensitivities we should be mindful of. This is not a form or an intake sheet. It is a real conversation.

Step 2 — We Match, Not Assign
Your parents will meet someone handpicked for them — a companion who shares their taste in literature, cinema, or conversation, and who speaks their language comfortably. Before the first visit, we arrange a brief introductory call so everyone is at ease. If the match doesn't feel right, we find another. No questions asked.

Step 3 — You Stay in the Picture
After every visit, you receive a personal, confidential note — not a clinical report, but a genuine account of how the visit went, what was discussed, and how your parent seemed. You remain connected to their world, from wherever you are.
